Automatic solar panel frame removal machine

Not what you hope to feed. The proportions of framed single-glass, framed double-glass, frameless and thin film decide whether a deframing machine is even the right first purchase.
Frame thickness and leg depth decide tooling and clamp positions. If several profiles arrive in one consignment, ask how the machine is changed between them and how long that takes.
The machine relies on the module sitting square. A meaningful share of distorted frames means a hand-dressing step belongs in the plan — and it means the honest through-put figure is lower than the rated one.
Work backwards from the tonnage and the shift pattern rather than forwards from a machine figure. One module per minute is fast; whether you need it depends on how much material you receive.
Automation replaces labour, not feedstock. At low volume a semi-automatic arrangement with one operator is usually the correct answer.
Which station you add next, and whether the machine's transfer heights and utility connections suit it. Ask for this in writing.
| Ask for | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Cycle time broken into phases | Distinguishes machine time from operator time, which is what tells you the real rate |
| The feedstock the rated figure is stated for | A through-put number without a feedstock is not a specification |
| The transport envelope | Decides whether it ships in a standard container without special handling |
| The consumable parts list | So spares are budgeted with the machine rather than discovered in month one |
| The settings policy | Which settings the operator may adjust and which require an engineer |
| Commissioning scope | Whether it is on your own modules, and whether operator training is included |
| Tooling range and changeover | The answer to a mixed frame profile is a changeover, and its duration is a real cost |
| Drawings for foundations and utilities | So the building work is not waiting for the machine |
Cycle times are usually quoted as one number, which hides the part that matters. On our automatic frame removal machine the minute is made up of roughly five seconds of operator loading and about forty-five seconds of machine processing — a thirty-second positioning and cut phase plus about five seconds each for the closing and opening of the press.
Those two components behave differently under load. Machine time is fixed by the mechanism. Operator time is what stretches when modules arrive bent, when the stack is awkward, or when the operator also runs the next station. If a quotation gives you one number, ask for the split — it tells you where your real rate will come from.
Module mix, frame profile and damage share. That is enough for us to say whether a deframing machine fits and what it should be configured for.
Size follows from the module envelope and the through-put rather than from a standard size class. Our automatic machine has a transport envelope of 2.5 m high by 2.23 m wide and runs one module per minute, but the relevant question for your project is what your module mix and tonnage require.
The foundation and utility interfaces are supplied as drawings with the order so the civil work can be prepared in advance. The details are project-specific, which is why they are confirmed at quotation stage rather than published as a generic figure.
It depends on throughput and on how abrasive the frames are, so a replacement interval quoted without that context would be a guess. What matters more is that the consumable list is known in advance — the chain and sprocket, the four positioning cylinders and the positioning rubber — so spares are held before a stoppage rather than after.
Yes, the automatic frame removal machine is loaded by one operator and runs the cycle itself. Whether that person also runs the next station depends on your layout and your through-put, and that is a line design question rather than a machine one.
Tell us what arrives at your gate and what has to leave. The engineering team replies with the station configuration, the scope boundary and the information still missing before drawings start.

Three details are enough to start: what modules you receive, how fast you need to process them, and what output you have to produce.
